Getting Started
When you open tmcStudio in Viewer mode, start by choosing the option Open existing database from the welcome screen.
Although there are other options, too, they are of no significance for a Viewer session.
Alternatively and after having closed the welcome screen, click 
Open Database from the toolbar.
By default the program will look for 'Firebird databases' with a '.fdb' ending.
