When this button is active, the mouse cursor takes the shape of the depicted arrow. The button has two functions:
- Firstly, Areas, Linears and Points can be selected on the map and in the data tree.
- Secondly, the map can be moved in any desired direction. To do this, press and hold the left mouse-button and move the cursor on the map. This incorporates and replaces the former "pan" button.
