We want to inform you that, for each HTTP request (which is what your Web browser generates when you request a page or part of a page from a website) received; we collect and store only the following information, in what is called a log file:
- the date and time
- the originating Internet Protocol (IP) address (this address can refer to a specific computer; more frequently, commercial Internet providers use a temporary IPA which does not link to a specific computer)
- for registered users only: the user login
- the object requested by
- either the TMC Editor access established by the F1-key functionality
- or the search function
- the completion status of the request
We use the information that we automatically collect to measure the number of visitors to the different areas of TMCWiki, and to help us make our pages more useful to visitors.
Under no circumstances any of this information is sold or in any other way made available to third parties.
