If the street you are working on has a name that is unique within the entire street list of your system this button can be used to save some time.
After entering the name of the street, cick the button and the program will search through the shape files for any street by that name.
Once the name has been found, the program will mark the street in red.
Now the button Generate Points 
will become colourful and can be clicked.
The program will generate points there where it deems them necessary and will give them names as far as possible.
