Structure of INI File: wo soll das hin? Verlinkung?

tmcStudio will store data in two INI files.

One INI file contains data from the application and is always located in the same directory as the EXE is installed.

The other INI file is always stored together with and has the same name as the database. This second INI file contains all configurations and settings that you will input in tmcStudio via Tools menuOptions. It is advised to not manually change this file.

The application INI file is supplied together with the software. Usually, there is one INI file per country you have licensed. The structure of this INI file looks like this:

[GeoLogix]
ProjectName=TMC Country Y

If you have more than one country, this is the name shown in the database selection list when starting tmcStudio.

UserProjectRegistryPath=CountryY

Your personal setting will be stored in the registry using this name.

ErrorSendMode=2

In case of a software crash you can send us error messages.

[About]
Name=Customer X
Serialnumber=N0QwQ-TRw

Name and serial number are created by GeoLogix AG and your license is registered using this information. Do not manually change this information as you may be unable to start the programme afterward.

[Database]
BSDatabaseType=FIREBIRD_LOCAL

Normally you will work with a local Firebird database (*.fdb file).

Database=c:\tmc\database\country.fdb

To directly open the programme without displaying a start screen at the beginning, enter the directory and database name here according to your file structure.

User_Name=sysdba
Password=masterkey
Charset=UTF8

Default settings for Firebird, must not be changed.
