How to Access Wiki Content
There are several possibilities to access the desired wiki content:
Open tmcwiki directly out of tmcStudio
- Make sure tmcStudio is the active window.
- Point the cursor at the area of interest (this might be a button, a window or a GUI area).
- Press the F1- key on your keybord.
- This opens tmcwiki in your browser, displaying the content you are looking for.
Use the search function in tmcwiki
- On every tmcwiki page you will find the search field in the upper right corner.
- Type in the search keyword (you can also paste it there) and click the
button if you are looking for a specific wiki page with this title. This makes sense, if you know or have some evidence that such a page exists, for instance because of a programme function being called accordingly. If there happens to exist a page with the respective title, it will subsequently open.
button if you want to search the whole wiki content in the sense of a full-text search. In this case, you will receive a list of search results, where you can pick the most promising by clicking on it (just like you would in Google).
Linking of Content and Related Topics
On most wiki pages you will be able to access other pages with related or additional content using the following elements:
- Categories: In their footer, most pages offer links to categories they are allocated to. Follow those links to diplay a link list of all pages in the respective category.
- Common links to other wiki pages:
- active links you will recognise by the blue font colour: Checker (this page exists)
- inactive links are written in red colour, as they do not yet exist: This page does not exist
