Setup & Data Requirements for First Time Use

In order to set up TMCStudio, extract all contents from the received ZIP file to a directory of your choice.

Note: The directory must be located on a local hard drive.

Open the directory and run TMCStudio.exe

This will open the window Import Location Table Exchange Format

Viewer

To use the Viewer you will require a database.

This can be done by choosing the option 'Open existing database' from the welcome screen.

Although there are other options, too, they are of no significance for a Viewer session.

Alternatively, and after having closed the welcome screen, click Open Database from the toolbar.

Checker

To use the Checker you will require a database.

This can be done by opening an existing database from the welcome screen or Open Database from the toolbar.

Choose 'Import Location Table Exchange Format into new database' from the welcome screen if you have a Location Table (as a single ZIP-file or several DAT-files) at your disposal and would like to import it to a new, empty database.

Alternatively, click the Import Location Table Exchange Format button after having closed the welcome screen.
